Herman Tello Alverado is a smallholder producer in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, a region where the majority of the local economy is related either directly or indirectly to coffee. He purchased the farm Alejandrina in 1997 from Mrs. Maria Figueroa.
The farm also produces plums, oranges, pears, and avocado, but 95% of the farm is planted with coffee.
Its annual production is 200 quintal parchment.
