We always put a lot of intention into our Holiday Blend. The goal is to create something unique from years past - and delicious in its own right - from the best fresh crop coffees available.
This year's blend is a good bit different than anything we've done in the past. The blend is comprised of two coffees in equal measure, both very unique from each other. On the one hand we have a washed coffee, the Java Sunda Hejo 'Cimulek' (very chocolatey with lemon, caramel, limeade finish, and mint) and the other a natural process coffee, Ethiopia Guji Kayon Mountain (raspberry, candied lemon, pineapple, and grape).
Here we now have a coffee that has balance and brightness and yet remains approachable, and is well suited for both drip and/or espresso throughout the Holidays!
Tasting Notes: A 50% Java, 50% Ethiopia (natural) blend inspired by the Holidays! Velvety chocolate body with raspberry, pineapple, and candied lemon.
