Amilcar Corea owns a 1.5-hectare farm in the Montecillos region of Honduras, where he has 1 hectare of land planted with coffee, including Catuai variety. The coffee is grown under shade in the mountainous landscape.
Naturals are relatively uncommon in Honduras, but Amilcar has been focusing on this process in order to improve his technique and his quality with it. The coffee is picked ripe and meticulously sorted, then dried for about 20 days, depending on the weather.
Tasting notes: Sweet and smooth with chocolate, almond, winey berry, and tart citrus fruit.
